Please allow 72 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.

"Same day/urgent" repeat prescriptions will no longer be processed via the surgery. Please contact your local pharmacy directly to obtain a 'short emergency supply' if necessary (with the exception of "controlled drugs").

With consideration to GDPR requirements, we no longer issue repeat prescriptions at Reception to anyone other than the specified patient (unless consent is held on record). Everyone will be required to provide sufficient form of identification prior to repeat prescription script release.

If this is difficult for you there are two alternatives:

  • Nominate a local Community Pharmacy
  • Discuss registration for Serial Prescriptions (CMS) with your local Community Pharmacy*
Please ensure that you carry identification when attending the Reception to collect your repeat prescription.

* CMS can help you manage your medicine through your chosen local Community Pharmacy whilst your GP Practice continues to provide your medical care.  Once set up for the system you do not contact the Practice to request repeat prescriptions; your medication will be ready for you to collect at the local Community Pharmacy where you registered. This involves completing and signing a questionnaire available from your local Community Pharmacy. Ask your local Community Pharmacy for further information.
