Medical Receptionist Vacancies– 1 morning post & 1 afternoon post

25 hrs per week:

Monday – Friday 8am-1pm OR 9am-2pm

&

Monday – Friday 1pm-6pm

Do you have experience working in a busy reception/office environment & are looking for a new challenge within a friendly team? We are currently looking to recruit 2 part time Medical Receptionists.

The successful candidate must have:

·         Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand to both patients & the staff within your team.

·         IT & organisational skills with a great attention to detail.  A positive attitude & ability to multi task within a fast paced environment is essential.

·         A friendly, welcoming manner.

Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

·         Answering telephone calls & ‘signposting’ patients to appropriate clinicians

·         Accurate update of patient database information

·         Booking patient appointments

·         Repeat prescription administration

·         Issuing test results to patients, filing results & other relevant documents

·         General administrative duties; photocopying, filing and mail management

 The successful candidates will contribute to the smooth running of a busy reception/administration department & shall provide the best possible care for patients in a helpful, efficient manner. Full training will be given.
