We are looking for a Minor Illness Qualified Practice Nurse to join our friendly, forward thinking team.
If you do not have the Minor Illness qualification currently but are a Practice Nurse who would like to undergo a recognised Minor Illness Management course to achieve this, we would like to hear from you too!
We are a training and undergraduate teaching practice, supporting a patient list of approximately 15,800. We pride ourselves in providing excellent evidence based patient care & strive for each employee to feel valued & respected.
The post holder shall be a Registered Nurse with current NMC UK Registration (responsibility for maintaining their own registration). Knowledge and skills in a Practice Nurse setting is a requirement of the post, in addition to evidence of Continuing Professional Development, through education and training. Experience in Chronic Disease Management with diplomas in either Asthma/COPD/Diabetes or having completed the General Practice Nurse programme is preferable but not essentialThe successful applicant will be an enthusiastic & reliable person with effective communication skills, developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and experience, who enjoys working independently but also as part of a close knit team.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
(Hours /Days negotiable – Salary dependant on experience).
We are seeking an enthusiastic ANP to complement our dedicated, friendly forward thinking team. We pride ourselves in providing excellent evidence based patient care.

The successful candidate will provide direct management of evidence based holistic patient centred care to the practice population in accordance with practice procedures & protocols ,ensuring confidentiality is maintained, in collaboration & consultation with the GP team.
The post holder will have successfully completed an RCN accredited qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent) & be a registered non-medical prescriber. Previous experience in a Primary Care Setting, Minor Injuries Unit or similar is essential. Considered applicants will be expert clinical practitioners, responsible for providing advanced clinical assessment, working autonomously, utilising high levels of decision making & clinical judgement in relation to patient care, including the diagnosis & management of acute conditions.
Excellent communication, highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory & experience, pro-activity & good teamwork are essential skills to successfully fulfil this role.
